Protection for your battery.
In addition to the minimum 12 months unlimited mileage BMW Warranty, your battery has a BMW i Warranty for your battery against failures due to manufacturing defects. Cover is for up to 8 years from the car's first registration, or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first for your car.
Our Battery Health Quick Report on every all-electric Approved Used BMW determines the current State of Health (SoH) of the battery. This SoH value defines the maximum energy capacity compared to its original condition.

Charging made easy.
We understand the importance of being able to charge your BMW easily, at home or on the move. That's why BMW Charging offers solutions to support you. What's more, our partnerships give you access to one of the largest networks of charging stations across the UK and continental Europe, with a range of attractive subscription tariffs and packages.
All BMW Approved Used all-electric cars come with a BMW AC Public Charging cable (Mode 3) as standard for charging on the move at public charging stations. You can purchase a BMW Flexible Charging cable (Mode 2) to charge at home if you do not have a home charger installed.
Your questions answered.
All BMW Approved Used all-electric cars will need regular servicing every two years, but unlike petrol or diesel vehicles, services are not based on mileage. Servicing at our BMW Service Centre is carried out by qualified BMW Technicians using only BMW Genuine Parts for any necessary mechanical repairs, most of which come with a two-year warranty.
The ideal charging level is between 10% and 80%. Although lower and higher charging levels are possible, this range is recommended for optimising the life of the battery.
In your vehicle menu, you can easily set your charge target to 80% – this should cover all of your daily driving distances. If you need more range, you can simply set a higher charging target.
Charging frequency and method, driving conditions and driving style as well as factors as load/weight and weather can affect battery performance. Your all-electric Approved Used BMW Battery is engineered to minimise the effect of extreme temperature on the battery.
You will have a BMW i Warranty for the high-voltage battery, which is valid for up to 8 years from the first registration of the car, or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first for your car.
If you have access to sustainably-produced electricity or discounted night electricity, you can use this to charge your battery at home. BMW recommends a 7kW Universal Home Charger, supplied and installed by Pod Point. You can set your preferred charging window in the settings of the operating menu of your vehicle, on the Pod Point or in the My BMW App*.

Talk to your local BMW Service Centre who can advise the best solution. The high-voltage battery is made up of numerous cells and these can be replaced independently.
